Chrome keeps giving me the error "Chrome detected that some of your settings were corrupted by another program and reset them to their original defaults".
I've looked through my programs and ran a full scan on MSE but I cannot find anything. AdwCleaner isn't finding any other files so I can't tell what is causing the change in the file. Cleaning removes every file but the Secure Preferences one. I decided to leave it alone for a little, but then more adware files began popping up in adwcleaner. After that it doesn't show up in adwcleaner, but when I restart my computer, it comes back. When I select clean, it goes through its process, restarts my computer, but the file is still there when I run it again. Here's how the file showed up in AdwCleaner: The Secure Preferences file in Chrome keeps getting edited by something, and I cannot figure out what. I ran an AdwCleaner scan and deleted everything that came up, but it can't seem to get rid of one file. For some reason I keep getting adware on my computer.
